Marcy Nimbus Elliptical Trainer
Marcie is a typical, single mom living just outside of London. Like all single parents, her two kids are her life. Her days begin by waking early enough to breathe for a moment before the busyness that is her day is set in motion. If the weather permits, she sometimes jogs for a bit, but rarely does that actually happen. More likely, she will ready herself, drink a cup of coffee and skim the paper before waking the boys. Then it’s a whirlwind of breakfasts, lunches, messy hair, checking schedules, double-checking homework and (hopefully) running out the door on time for school and work. After work, she picks the boys up, helps them with homework as she prepares dinner, cleans up, washes up, puts the boys up to bed, and (again, hopefully) puts her feet up to rest.
It goes without saying that she hasn’t left much time to focus on herself and her health. Isn’t selflessness part of parenthood? True, but it doesn’t have to consume every area of life. Marcie may be able to focus on her boys and herself, too. She just saw an ad for an elliptical trainer. It caught her eye, because she shared its name. It was called the Marcy Nimbus and was quite unlike anything she’d ever seen before. Not quite a treadmill, yet not quite an exercise bike; the actors on the television must have been acting, because they made it look so easy.
Marcie mentioned it to a friend at work who happened to use one every night at the gym. She raved about how much her body had changed while using the Marcy Nimbus elliptical trainer, even though it didn’t feel like a strenuous workout at the gym. She said she’d worked from a one point resistance to a three and was trying to reach a regular workout level of all ten points. Marcie was sure she couldn’t afford equipment advertised on television and used in gyms, but she checked it out, anyway. To her delight, it was just the amount she’d been saving to one day get herself something special.
The day after she bought it and brought it home, she quietly began stepping on her new Marcy Nimbus elltiptical trainer. Its quiet design didn’t wake the boys, and she watched in surprise as her heart rate climbed and reached a plateau at her target rate. Just minutes later, as her workout ended, Marcie glanced out a window at the rain beginning to fall. She smiled. She was ready to tackle her day, finally feeling energized and refreshed.
